What are we really doing here if we're not creating the most beautiful lives our hearts can imagine? If we're not pouring our whole selves into the art of magical, messy, imperfect living? Trying and failing and trying again. What are we doing if we're not sharing our gifts with the world, exploring the vast potential within us? What are we doing here if we're so afraid of making mistakes that we don't even try?

Too often, I feel like we get caught up in excuses, saying we’ll do things when life settles down a little or we’ll take that trip when we have extra money. But those excuses are lost on me, because time isn’t something we own. It’s not given or promised. We must find a way to do the things we want to do while there is still the opportunity. Time is something we borrow, and we never know when life will call in the loan.
